DriveLogs ("we", "our", "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Drive logs: When you log a drive, the app stores the date, start time, end time, duration, day/night classification, weather conditions, road type, and supervisor initials. This data is stored locally on your device.
Location (optional): If you grant permission, the app uses your approximate location solely to determine sunrise/sunset times for automatic day/night classification and to fetch local weather data. Your location is never stored, tracked, or transmitted to third parties.
Account data (optional): If you choose to create an account for cloud backup, we store your email address and your encrypted drive log data on our servers (hosted by Supabase).
Purchase data: In-app purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store your payment information. We use RevenueCat to manage purchase status.
We use PostHog to collect anonymous usage analytics (e.g., which features are used, crash reports) to improve the app. This data cannot be used to identify you personally. You can opt out of analytics in the app settings.
We use Sentry to collect anonymous crash reports. These reports contain technical information about the crash (device type, OS version, stack trace) but no personal data.
If you create an account, your drive data is synced to our servers hosted by Supabase (US-based). You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the app's Settings screen.
Your local drive data remains on your device until you delete the app. If you have a cloud account, your data is retained on our servers until you delete your account. We will delete all data associated with your account within 30 days of your request.
DriveLogs is designed for parents and guardians to track their teen's driving practice. The app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
